About CEAL
What began as a simple group chat — Japan Fans & Friends — has blossomed into CEAL: the Centre for Enthusiasts of Asian Languages, based in the heart of the Netherlands: Utrecht.
Thanks to our amazing volunteers, dedicated teachers and enthusiastic members, we now offer weekly lessons, clubs and cultural activities. From language exchange to mahjong, from martial arts to anime discussions and calligraphy workshops.
Everyone is welcome. There is no payment system, just donations. We believe in low-threshold learning, shared curiosity and creating a warm, inclusive community for all.
