Earlier this year, CEAL proudly launched its first Introduction to Mandarin course, led by Xianning Chu. The classes were a wonderful success, bringing together curious learners in a lively and supportive environment. Participants enjoyed exploring basic Mandarin vocabulary, pronunciation, and cultural insights, and the sessions sparked a real enthusiasm for the language.
Although Xianning is currently too busy to continue teaching, we are deeply grateful for her inspiring guidance and dedication. Her work laid a strong foundation for Mandarin learning at CEAL, and we hope she might return in 2026 to continue sharing her expertise.
In the meantime, our China Fans study group stays active on WhatsApp, keeping the community connected and enthusiastic about Mandarin and Chinese culture. We are also looking forward to welcoming a new teacher soon, to help the group grow and provide more opportunities for learners to practice, improve, and enjoy Mandarin together.
